Card Protection Signature is a comprehensive assistance services to help customers carry on their lives without interruptions in the event of card loss due to lost or Stolen. Card Protection Signature does not only offers you protection but also assistance at the point of emergency situations.

2. What type of cards can I register?
You can register all your Bank Cards – Credit, Debit, ATM and stored value card such as Touch & Go

3. Why do I need to register my card numbers?
By registering your cards, we will be able to report loss and block your cards even faster to avoid any fraudulent use.

4. How do I register my card numbers?
There are 2 options for registering your card details.

6. What does Card Not Present features covers? 
Card Not Present covers you for Online Transactions, Telephone, Mail Order And E- Mobile Wallet , in the event of fraud transaction You shall be paid up to RM 750 per fraudulent transaction and up to a limit of RM 1,500 per Term of Membership. Card Protection Signature Terms and conditions applies .

7. What services does FSecure provide?
F-Secure’s main feature is to provide virus protection, online threats & browsing protection. Browsing protection ensures your security and privacy by keeping you away from web pages that spread malicious content or collect personal information. Upon enrollment of the membership the Principle member will receive each (2)two F-Secure licenses which are one (1) F-Secure Internet Security for PC & Laptop and one (1) F-Secure Safe for smartphone & tablets. F-Secure Tnc’s will be applicable.

8. If I am abroad and I find that my personal belongings, travel tickets and passport have been lost or stolen, what should I do?
When you discover the items are missing, immediately call our hotline at 1 800 888 277. Our trained agents will guide you through the whole process. Our first priority is to block the lost cards. We will then advise you how and where to receive a replacement passport. Finally, we will assist in the re-issuing of travel tickets and cash advance so that you may return home safely. 9. How can I pay for my hotel expenses
You should inform us that you would like assistance with the hotel payment. We will then liaise with the hotel and advance the expenses to pay the hotel directly. Card Protection Signature Terms and conditions applies.

10. Do I need to pay back the Emergency Travel Assistance?
Yes, the Emergency Travel Assistance features which are cash advance, hotel bill payment and travel ticket replacement will require you to pay back the amount to CPP Malaysia Sdn Bhd within 28 days of the date received. Card Protection Signature Terms and conditions applies.

11. What does my membership cover?

12. How many people can I enroll for Household membership plan ?
The principle member must eighteen (18) years old or above and live in Malaysia, You may apply for Membership as a Principal Member (‘Single Plan’) and apply on behalf of up to four (4) persons who live at the address which the Principle have registered with CPP Member(s) (‘Household Plan’).

12.How long is the membership period?
Our membership will be valid for 12 months from effective date of the membership enrolment.

13.Does the membership fee is inclusive GST?
The price is inclusive GST.

13. Can I cancel my membership anytime?
You are able to cancel your membership anytime but no refund will be provided after the grace period (14 days from the date of the membership purchase)

14. How do I renew my membership?
Six weeks prior to the expiry date of your membership, we will send you a reminder letter advising that your membership is due for renewal. We will take payment from the same credit card as in the initial membership unless otherwise advised by you to debit an alternate.

15. How do I make a claim?
Please call CPP customer service hotline to request for the claim form. The form needs to be completed and then returned to us together with original supporting documents for claims to be processed.

16. Is there any time period limitation for submitting a claim?
All claims must be received within 60 days from the date of the card loss event. Please remember to include all the documents which are required, including original receipts (not photocopies) for any expenses claimed for. We will not be able to process your claim until we have received them.

17. How long does it take for the claims to processed?
It will take 25working days to process your claims, from the time you have submitted the completed claim form and all the required supporting documents to CPP Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

18. How many times can I claim?
All insurance benefit is claimable within the coverage amount for the membership year.

19. Who can I contact if I have any questions relating to my membership?

20. Can buy Card Protection Signature if I’m already a member of Card Protection Plan?
No, but you are able to upgrade your Card Protection plan (e.g.: Premier or Plus) to Card Protection Signature

You must disclose to us, fully and faithfully, the facts You know or ought to know, otherwise You may not receive any benefit from Your Membership. The Membership is non-transferable.

When You report a Card Loss to Us, We will contact the Issuer and ask them to cancel / suspend the Card. Please ensure you register your cards with us, as it will enable us to report the Card Loss to the correct Issuer. Please note that in certain circumstances more fully described in the Issuer's terms and conditions, the Issuer may require the submission of various documents before the Card can be cancelled. Under those circumstances, We shall ask the Issuer to suspend the Card from any use.

In the event of Card Loss during your travel within Malaysia or Abroad you are able to request for Emergency Travel Assistance.

Emergency Travel Assistance will be provided upon your request and You must report the Card Loss to CPP within 24 hours of discovering the Card Loss.

You must reimburse the amount advanced in full within twenty-eight (28) days from the date the advance is made for Emergency Travel Assistance.

The Principal Member will be offered a comprehensive anti-virus software. The subscription includes F-Secure Internet Security & F-Secure Safe for their PC, Laptop ,Smart phones and Tablets powered and owned by F-Secure, a third party supplier/service provider who will provide the benefits outlined in Terms and conditions . The F-Secure Internet Security and F-Secure Safe license key will be provided In the Welcome Pack.

Additional membership benefits in Card Protection Signature are underwritten by the Insurer and arranged by CPP under the Membership under a group policy between CPP and the Insurer (MPI Generali) under which each Member will be entitled for each benefits.

The Insurer will pay within the coverage amount under the additional benefit if there is Card Loss and You have reported the Card Loss, loss / theft of Valuable Documents and / or loss / theft of Personal Belongings to the local police within 24 hours of You becoming aware of that loss/theft;

If We are issuing the Membership to You for the first time, We will give You a 14 days cooling-off period from the Start Date. If within these 14 days You tell Us that You do not need the Membership, We will cancel it and refund the Membership Fee You have paid in full provided no claim has been made under the Membership. There will be no refund of the Membership Fee if there are Claims or outstanding advances under the Membership. Please note You are assumed to have received the Membership within 3 days from the date of our despatch of the Welcome Pack. The cooling-off period will not apply to renewals of Membership.

If You want to report a Card Loss or make a Claim, please call Us any time at 1 800 888 277 and We will proceed to arrange for the delivery of the Claim Form to You. All required information under the Claim Form should be filled and returned to Us.

Upon full payment of the Membership Fee, the Membership will begin on the Start Date and continues for a period up to the Renewal Date. A letter informing about the renewal of the Membership will be sent to the Principal Member's Home within 4 to 6 weeks prior to the Renewal Date.

Please note:

We will take payment for your 12-month membership.

Your membership will automatically renew every year unless you contact us before your next renewal date (shown in your membership documents) and ask us not to. We’ll contact you before your next renewal date to remind you and will advise you of the fee for renewal of your membership.

You have a right to cancel your membership up to 14 days after the start date shown in your membership documents. If you choose to cancel during this period, your membership will be cancelled immediately and we'll give you a full refund.
